Does Spicewood Party Rentals Deliver and Setup?

Spicewood Party Rentals will deliver the unit to your party, inflate it, give you a safety briefing, and return to dismantle everything once your party is over. Easy and stress-free! We offer free delivery and setup in a limited delivery area with a small delivery fee for some outlying zip codes.

How Long Does It take To Set Up or Break Down?

In normal situations we can have it setup and broken down in 30 minutes. It takes about three minutes to inflate and five to deflate.

Does the standard rental time include your set up time?

No. We arrive early to set up so you get the entire rental time to play.

When do you set up?

That depends on how many rentals we have that day. Generally we arrive 1-3 hours before the rental time begins. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set up as early as 4 hours in advance. If this is the case, we will call a business day before to confirm that someone will be at the party location.

Will a moonwalk fit in my backyard?

If you have a somewhat flat area about 26' x 18' with no low hanging tree branches, it will fit. We rarely have a problem.  Keep in mind that we must stay 20' away from overhead power lines. You can send us photos of your yard if you have concerns.

What surfaces do you set up on?

We can set up on grass (our favorite and best for the kids), dirt, asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we can't set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps.

Do I need a generator?

If you have a standard electrical outlet within 100 feet of the setup area, a generator is not needed.

What about parks? Do parks have electricity?

We love setting up at parks but most parks do NOT have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, you must rent a generator. We rent generators at a reasonable cost. Also, most parks are first come, first serve so get your spot early in the day.

What is your weather policy?

Once equipment is delivered, there will be no rain checks or refunds available.

Are your moonwalks clean?

Yes, we clean our moonwalks before each rental. Our bouncers are also brand new, so they won't be scuffed up from wear and tear like some others you might find.

Do we have to keep it plugged in the entire time?

Yes, a blower keeps air in the jump unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate. That's why we require an outlet within 100' of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can trip your circuit breaker so we will bring our own heavy duty cords.

What payments do you take?

Cash or Check. If paying by cash, please have exact change as our drivers do not carry cash.

What if we need to cancel?

Please call us as soon the need to cancel is realized.

Are we responsible for the unit if it gets a tear or damaged in any way?

Yes and no.  You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units.  Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time.  If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation.  If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower, etc which can cost thousands of dollars.  We don´t want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
